In order to create a solid backbone for our fleet, sas virtual turns to Europe's largest aircraft manufacturer, airbus.
Another one of the hallmarks of SAS Virtual's ever-growing fleet, the Airbus A320 family makes up 38 members of our fleet. Operating on both short and medium haul flights, the aircraft will be one of our main planes moving forward, with more orders on the way! Currently, SAS Virtual operates the A319, A320, and A321 variants.
The only two-engined plane to fly SAS Virtual's international routes, the Airbus A330-300 boasts an all-new cabin, and, with an impressive long range, this aircraft is a great alternative to the larger A340s and 747s in our fleet, with the same range and power. This aircraft also operates on some of SAS Virtual's shorter, 5 to 6-hour routes.
The largest of SAS Virtual's Airbus fleet, the A340 is one of two of our four-engined planes, the other being the 747. This giant flies on our international routes, serving cities around the world. We currently operate the latest A340-600 fleet.
